Bardoxolone Methyl : Phase 3

BEACON: bardoxolone methyl evaluation in patients with chronic kidney disease and Type 2 Diabetes: the occurrence of Renal events.

DESIGN	A Multi-national, multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group Phase 3 study that will compare the efficacy and safety of bardoxolone methyl relative to placebo in patients with Stage 4 (eGFR > 15.0 to < 30mL/min/1.73m2) CKD and type 2 diabetes receiving standard of care.
POPULATION	Male or female, 18 years of age or older, with chronic kidney disease and type 2 diabetes.
DOSE	Bardoxolone Methyl (20 mg, amorphous SDD formulation) or placebo (0 mg)
