Reata has two important partners in developing our lead product, bardoxolone methyl, outside the United States. Kyowa Hakko Kirin, Tokyo, JP, has licensed rights to develop the product in Japan and other select Asian Territories. Abbott Laboratories is codeveloping bardoxolone methyl globally with Reata and will commercialize the product in other global territories outside the US and Asia. Reata will independently launch and commercialize bardoxolone methyl in the United States.
