Reata Pharmaceuticals to Present at the 28th Annual
J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference
Presentation Scheduled for January 14, 1:00 p.m. PST
IRVING, TX – January 8, 2010 -- Reata Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announces that J. Warren Huff, Chief Executive Officer and President, will present a company overview at the 28th Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference. The presentation will be held at 1:00 p.m. PST in the Elizabethan C/D Room at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, CA.
Mr. Huff's presentation will include an update on the clinical development of bardoxolone methyl, a first-in-class antioxidant inflammation modulator (AIM) for the treatment of advanced chronic kidney disease. Bardoxolone is currently in a pivotal clinical trial in diabetic patients, and 6-month estimated glomerular filtration rate results from this study are anticipated in the first half of 2010. Mr. Huff will also describe the company's recently-announced licensing, co-development and commercialization collaboration with Kyowa Hakko Kirin for bardoxolone in Japan, China and certain other Asian markets.
